From October 9 to 11, Dr. Elisa Bolletta, specialized in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, was among the speakers at the Agorà Congress in Milan, presenting for the first time the results of an innovative study on the use of exosomes in the pre and post-operative care of breast surgery patients. She was joined by CEO Aliberti Liberato, Director of Technological Strategic Development and International Relations at Elisà Plastic Surgery.
The study, titled “Beyond the Scar: Regenerative Advances in Breast Surgery,” highlighted how regenerative medicine can transform the healing process into an active phase of tissue regeneration, improving both the aesthetic outcome of scars and the psychological well-being of patients.
Through a clinical protocol using stem cell-derived exosomes, Dr. Bolletta and CEO Liberato achieved remarkable results, including more harmonious scars, increased tissue elasticity, and exceptionally high patient satisfaction.
